SEVANKUR WORKSHOP 2011
ON "QUALITY OF LIFE" 
Date: 6th and 7th August 2011
Place: Reshimbag, Nagpur

                        A 2-days' residential workshop was organised by Sevankur on 6th and 7th August 2011. Medical students from all over Maharashtra had participated in the workshop. 
The workshop included

-Theme lecture by Dr. Dangre Sir

- Interview Session with the guests involved in social service

- Group Discussion on relevant social issues

- Outdoor Games

- Elocution competition

- Morning Yog Session

-Goal Setting workshop by Dr. Pallavi Joshi

-"Being Dhanvantari" - Lecture by Mr Sandip Singh

-Bharat Mata Poojan, a unique way of expressing our love for the country


The workshop was attended by 171 medical students from all over Maharashtra. The feed-back from them was wonderful.. 



Interview session

Interview session with people who are actively involved in social service. Group Discussion is one of the most liked and important part of the Sevankur Workshop..







Outdoor FUN..!!





Many new friends are made during the workshop. We get to know the views of people from other streams of medicine - Dental, Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Allopathy.. A good experience.. Broadens our views, gives us new friends




                                                                         


Sumitji Kathale, a well known Sanskrit scholar had the participants in splits with his Sanskrit jokes. He also gave a wonderful lesson on Basic communication in Sanskrit








Dr. Madhura Joshi shared her experiences during her trip to North-East. She gave a wonderful presentation on the problems, needs and efforts being taken in the North-Eastern States of our country..

Dr. Tupkary Sir concluded the workshop. He highlighted the important points of the workshop. He put forward the reason why we participated in the various segments of the workshop; what was the main intention of it and what we must learn from this experience.
